Young People's Advisory Service (YPAS) - Ages 5-25

Support for Vulnerable Families Early Help Hubs - Families of Children Ages 0-18

Every family faces challenges, and we aim to work with families to prevent small problems from becoming bigger. Families can be referred to Early Help for support. Early Help is a multiagency team led by a Social Worker in one of the hubs (North, South, Central). Liverpool FRESH CAMHS supports children, young people, and their families/carers with a range of therapies and interventions. School Pastoral Services - Ages 5-18

Schools are vital in supporting the wellbeing of children through pastoral care. Parents are encouraged to contact their child's school to discuss how they can collaborate to support their child's needs.

PSS Parent & Baby Wellness Services - From Pregnancy to Age 3

Our PSS Parent & Baby Service supports parents and carers in Liverpool with mild to moderate mental health issues, helping them build strong, healthy relationships with their babies. We focus on keeping babies safe and fostering positive interactions so they can develop to their full potential. We assist parents and carers in understanding and responding to their baby's needs, overcoming challenges like early trauma, and addressing practical issues such as housing and money. Children's Centres - From pregnancy to when child turns 5

Children's Centres are led by experienced teams dedicated to supporting families. We offer a range of free services for children from birth to five and their families, including:

  • Stay and play drop-ins (including for SEN)
  • Weight and advice sessions by health visitors
  • 'You and Me, Mum' domestic violence support
  • 'Development Matters' stay and play (for parents with concerns about their child's development)
  • Story and rhyme time
  • Antenatal sessions
  • Bambis breastfeeding support
